Rainbow Nursery Fees
Our fees explained
Rainbow Nursery Schools Ltd has three sites in the Richmond and Sheen areas of West London.
As a private pre-school our fees are dependent on which sessions you require.
Ormond Road, Sheen Park & Sheen Common Mornings – £2601 per term for 5 mornings per week.
Sheen Park (Holy Trinity Church Centre) are 9am-12.30pm
Sheen Common: 8.30 – 12pm
Ormond Road: 9.15am-12.30pm
Due to our terms of refrence as a sessional pre-school registered with OFSTED we have to have a defined break between the morning and afternoon sessions which is what our lunch club is. This is why there is an additional £6 fee. Lunch club sessions are 12.30pm-1pm and children have to bring their own packed lunch.
Sheen Park: 1pm-3pm – £24 per session booked in advance.
Sheen Common: 12-3pm – £2601 per term based on 5 afternoons per week.
Ormond Road: 1pm-3pm – £24 per session booked in advance.
Sheen Park has the possibility of extended sessions including lunch club every Monday – Friday until 3pm at an additional £30 (including the Lunch Club fee – children bring own packed lunch) per session.
At Sheen Common you can combine the morning and the afternoon sessions with the lunch club to provide a 8.30am – 3pm to cover 5 days a week during term time. Please contact us for the pricing regarding this.
At Ormond Road we provide 4 extended sessions 9.15am-3pm Mon-Thurs.
*These fees are reviewed annually and a terms notice is given. We have a commitment to involve all of our community where possible and work closely with the Local Authority to provide access for children from lower income families. These children are offered fully funded places and no additional charge is made for the enrichment activities we provide as part of our Early Years curriculum that the full fee does.
Information about National Funding
The Nursery Education Grant is provided for all three and four-year-olds, and specific 2-year olds with identified needs.
Funding is activated the term following your childs 2nd or 3rd birthday.
It is intended to fund a maximum of five 3-hour morning sessions per week for 12-14 week periods.
Please be aware term lengths fluctuate with the borough which affects the funding amount (Currently there are 13 weeks Autumn term, 12 weeks Spring term and 13 weeks Summer term).
Once a child exceeds 15 hours or the maximum amount of funding per term, fees will be charged per hour exceeding the 15-hour offer.
Additional fees are charged at £12 an hour exceeding their funding (£6 per session or £30 per week).
Families eligible for the additional funding (30 hours) will require a current funding code IN ADVANCE in order to utilise it for our extended sessions.
We can accept the 30 hour extended funding at all our settings providing that it is a current code. Please ensure that you apply for the code each time BEFORE the HMRC deadline.
For FULLY FUNDED places, Early Years Pupil Premium Funding is available for all children from lower income families.
To find out if a child qualifies, the parent must complete the Achieving for Children Early Education Funding Form in full, to include National Insurance number and date of birth of respective parent.
This funding goes directly to the preschool to enhance your child’s preschool learning and is additional to the grant fee payment.
